This is a double sided accordion book with interactive flaps!

One side of the book follows Jumbo, a baby elephant, who is excited to see a red balloon and follows it while his mother is asleep. However, the balloon flies away. Jumbo looks around and realizes he is lost.

On the other side, Jumbo's mother wakes up and realizes her son is gone. She frantically searches for him everywhere. Here, readers can open the interactive flaps to see what Jumbo's mother finds behind the foliage. The flaps make the book more exciting, and immerses the readers into the story. Ultimately the mom finds Jumbo and they are united again!
The total length of the book is 25" and the height is around 7". The book is folded four times making the size of each page approximately 5" x 7". The illustrations were done traditionally with colored pencils on textured paper. The sleeve and the book were both hand-bound by myself.​
